Account data: name, email address, and optional billing email. Usage data: API request logs (endpoint, target URL, status, credits, timing) kept for operating, debugging, and billing the Service. Technical data: session and security metadata such as IP address and browser fingerprint used for authentication and abuse prevention.
All payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), acting as merchant of record. Polar collects and stores your payment details, billing address, and tax information under its own privacy policy — Chuger never receives or stores card numbers. We receive from Polar only what is needed to operate your subscription: customer and subscription identifiers, plan, and payment status.
To provide and secure the Service, meter credits, enforce plan limits, send transactional email (receipts come from Polar), respond to support requests, and monitor reliability. We do not sell personal data.
Content retrieved through the API on your instruction is processed on your behalf and may be cached briefly for performance. The websites you target are chosen by you; you are the controller of what you collect through the Service.
Raw request logs are retained for 90 days. If you delete your account, it is soft-deleted with a 30-day recovery window; after that it is permanently purged and we instruct Polar to delete and anonymize your billing customer record. Polar retains invoices it is legally required to keep as merchant of record.
We use upstream infrastructure providers to fulfil API requests (scraping, search, and LLM providers), hosting providers, and error monitoring. These processors receive only the data required to perform their function.
You can access and update account data in the dashboard, export your usage history, and delete your account at any time. For access, correction, or deletion requests beyond that — or any privacy question — contact [email protected].
